2015 Pensacola Area Year End REALTORS® Report

2015 closes out the year in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties with an average 9% sales increase in residential units, and an average 14% increase in total volume of sales over 2014. Average price of a home sold, had a solid 5% increase over 2014 as well.

Pensacola Beach appears to lead the market with 34% increase in meaningful residential sales volume with $92+ Mil in 2014 to $123+ Mil in 2015. Median sales prices were also up 16%, which is a significant number for both, Beach sellers and buyers.

In simple terms, the above statistics provide evidence of a stable and upward trending market in general, and a surging market along our Beach Coastline. Navarre Beach had significant increases, Perdido Key trended backwards somewhat in total sales, but Median Sales prices were significantly higher.

No one can predict the future, but based on the statistics, and what I see on a day to day basis, I suggest we are likely to see more of the same in 2016. With interest rates set to advance, the time may be ripe to take advantage of the current low mortgage rate structure and make a purchase sooner rather than later.

The out of town buyers looking for a Beach Property should seriously consider our Coastal Areas and Beaches now! Prices along the Florida Coastline are advancing swiftly, but the Pensacola Area Beaches represent a significant value by comparison. And we are within an easy days drive from Georgia to Texas and all the States in between!

As Beach Condo owner for 15 years, I understand Coastal Property ownership and the Real Estate Market! Give me a call and let me help you find the right Beach Property or a New Home today!
